"laugh out loud"

Highly recommend you get tickets to this year's performance, it was worth every penny.

This year's panto is Sleeping Beauty and I took along 2 excited girls aged 7 and 5 to a Saturday evening performance.

The jokes were 'laugh out loud' with an absolutely brilliant dame and great acting all around. It stuck to the traditional story for the most but with a few modern-day adaptions including Sleeping Beauty aka ‘Rose’ sword fighting with the baddy to save the prince!! Yes, Girl Power!!!

I thought Roxy from Eastenders who played the villain (the equivalent of Maleficent) was brilliant and although evil, not too scary for little ones.

As always the set and costumes were breathtaking, with clever pyrotechnics including a giant moving dragon! The dame's costumes (aka Nanny) were genius and the kids were wide-mouthed throughout!

Highly recommend you get tickets to this year's performance, it was worth every penny. So nice to be back at live theatre again!
