JUNIOR ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS

This is your time to shine!

It will soon be time for auditions for all our pantomimes!

Make sure you book your space using the link below.

We are looking for kids with bags of energy and personality.

Acting/singing/dance ability is required but previous theatre experience is not essential.

Auditions are open to boys and girls, aged 9 - 16* (at the time of the show).

*and still in compulsory full time education (ie. in year 11)

Important Information - Please read carefully before applying!

AUDITIONS

Everyone wishing to audition needs to fill in an application form (found below).

Sessions are approximately 3 hours long. Please attend the correct session for your age.

A parent/guardian is expected to wait on site during your audition (but they are not allowed in the audition itself).

You do not need to prepare anything - the auditions are a workshop.

You just need to bring a drink and wear cloths suitable to move in, including appropriate footwear.

BEING IN A LITTLE WOLF PANTOMIME

You must be available to attend rehearsals on all evenings and weekends for approximately 3.5 weeks before the show opens, therefore you may well need to tell other activities that you are not available during panto season.

No rehearsal or performance can be missed - so please think carefully before accepting your place.

We split the kids into 3 teams, and each team performs approx 1/3rd of the performances. You will need to be available for all your teams shows. A full rehearsal and performance schedule will be sent out to successful auditionees.

All children performing need a performance license which we get from the council - you and your parents will need to help us by completing some important paperwork (which we will send out to successful auditionees).

Whilst it is not mandatory, parents are encouraged to help us out by getting a volunteer chaperone license from their local council and assisting with some light chaperone duties, alongside our professional head chaperones.

As part of the rehearsal process some unavoidable time of school is needed, and so all children must be educationally able to do this. You will need your headteacher's permission to take part.

JUNIOR ENSEMBLE GUIDE

We have created an Junior Ensemble Guide, which explains more about the pantomime experience

and the expectations of those taking part, as well as some handy hints for the audition!

Please make sure you and your parents have read it before auditioning.

What's it like auditioning and taking part in a Little Wolf panto?

We had a chat with Lottie Venskus, who has appeared in several Little Wolf pantos,

to learn what it's like auditioning and taking part in the Junior Ensemble...
